NexHealth

NexHealth Is a patient experience platform that accelerates innovation in healthcare.

NexHealth is a patient experience platform that syncs with health record systems. It allows patients to easily book appointments, communicate with practices, and leave reviews. As a key member of the NexHealth brand team, I was an influential contributor to the rebrand and built out its portfolio of branded collateral.

NexHealth Rebrand

The NexHealth rebrand project was motivated by a desire to differentiate NexHealth in the healthcare-tech space, emphasize data movement, and modernize a dated logomark. Assets for the rebrand included a new logo and wordmark, color palette, typography, and brand guidelines.

The updated NexHealth branding utilizes lines or rails in the logo mark to represent the movement of data

Sketches evolved from emphasizing the “X” to visualizing rails that carry data through the “N”

Color Palette

The identity relies on stark shades of black, white, and grey along with a set of nicely paired secondary colors that support the identity with a high-end technical look.

State Of Dental

Dental practices can gain valuable insights and growth strategies from NexHealth’s annual State Of Dental report. I lead the creative direction and layout of the 30+ page report which includes infographics, custom charts, and digital collage-style graphics. The report was distributed digitally via a custom landing page and a print version was distributed at trade shows.

Custom digital collage graphics were created to bring the report to life

In addition to the State of Dental report, a LIVE webinar was planned to allow followers to hear NexHealth Customers’ strategies for perpetual growth.

Customer Case Study

For a new player in the health data space, success stories are critical to gaining customers. I had the opportunity to partner with the content team to produce and direct NexHealth’s first Case Study. Prior to the shoot I prepared a shot list and reviewed logistics with an external video team. The end result is a video that tells the story of how NexHealth allows a Dental practice to grow while providing excellent care for its patients.

In addition to the video footage, still photos were captured for use in additional collateral to support case study campaigns.

Podcast Branding

Having a multifaceted approach to dialogue with potential customers is key to NexHealth’s success. The “How I Built My Practice” podcast tells customer stories and helps NexHealth be seen as a thought leader in the industry. I led the creative direction for the branding of the podcast. The use of the NexHealth fonts and secondary color palette ties the podcast branding to its parent brand. Additional assets were created for promotion on social media and distribution across broadcast channels.

Logomark and color palette

The logo mark depicts blocks and reflects the steps it takes to grow a business. The modular nature of the logo serves the dual purpose of representing the brand and the constantly shifting nature of owning a business. The mark can adjust to fit the various channels it is utilized in.

Employee Engagement

During NexHealth’s early days, a tradition began of awarding shoes to employees that reached milestones, shipped significant products, or excelled in their roles. In a high-growth environment, speed is an influential factor in being successful. As a side project, I wanted to synthesize the idea of the shoe-giving culture and the accelerated pace at which things get done at NexHealth. I created the concept of the Nexie mascot and tagline “Nexers Do It Faster”. Combining the speedy looking mascot with sneakers, it was a logical fit to fold into the employee recognition space in the office.

Nexie on employee swag

As part of the employee recognition space in the office, I directed the creative for the wall installation. Employees would be recognized on posters that took inspiration from the Perodic Table of Elements. Much like each element on the periodic table, the individual employees would represent elements that contribute to the growth and success of NexHealth
